Tristen Asallani, the man who drove his car at high speed into a Crouch End shop in January, has been jailed for 25 years.
Asallani was being chased by police, who had just watched the drug dealer hand over a suitcase containing 12kg of Cocaine to another man in Avenue Road, before driving off in a car. When they tried to pull him over he sped off before crashing into computer repair shop in Park Road and running away.
Officers searching the area with dogs found him hiding near to the scene. A Skorpion machine gun was seized during a raid in Avenue Road.
At Kingston Crown Court, Asallani admitted dangerous driving, conspiracy to supply drugs and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. His accomplice Ndricim Musaj was jailed for 9 years. The drugs seized in this case had an estimated street value of up to £6.4million.
