A brand new podcast from Crouch End

A brand new music and comedy podcast was launched this week by Crouch End’s popular recording studio The Crypt.

The curiously named “Monkeyfingers” is hosted by comedian James Shakeshaft and local comedy writers and performers Georgina Sowerby and Brian Luff. It features both studio guests from the London comedy scene and local musicians. The format was created by podcasting veteran Luff and the Crypt Studio’s owner Ricky Barber.

“With so many great writers and performers living in Crouch End,” Luff told us, “Ricky and I wanted to put together a podcast that will showcase their talents on a regular basis.”

Comedian Ben Clover and singer-songwriter Matthew Neel are the special guests in programme 1 of Monkeyfingers @the Crypt. The show is available now on iTunes  Go here to listen
