First comedy festival a huge success

The first Crouch End Comedy Festival took place in October 2015 and was a total sell-out. It was a fantastic, record-breaking week and thanks to everyone who performed and came to see shows at Downstairs at the Kings Head, Hornsey Town Hall, ArtHouse and Earl Haig Hall.

In total over 60 acts appeared including some top names like Reginald D. Hunter, Sean Lock, Stewart Lee, Henning Wehn, Roisin Conaty, Phil Nichol, Arthur Smith, John Hegley and Miles Jupp. The festival was Critic’s Choice in Time Out

Winners of the Boom-Tish! Best New Act 2015 competition at the ArtHouse were the oddly named but extremely funny sketch duo BS Thoughts Out Loud featuring Sian Hutchinson and Barry Glennon.

Looking forward to another sell-out festival in 2016.
