A woman is being treated for a head injury following a collision in Tottenham Lane, Crouch End.
Paramedics including two single responders, London Air Ambulance and an incident response officer were called to Tottenham Lane in Crouch End at 2.57pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Police cordoned off the street and traffic was diverted while medics treated the woman, whom eyewitnesses have said was elderly and crossing the road at the time of the collision.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We treated a woman at the scene for a head injury and took her, as a priority, to a major trauma centre.”
According to officers the 69 year old’s condition is critical but stable. Her next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
